JBC LLC (“JBC”, “we”, “us”) is a consulting firm registered in Orlando, Florida, USA. We operate jamesbond.consulting. The data controller for any personal data collected through this site is JBC LLC, contactable at [email protected].
2. What this site does
This website exists for one purpose: to let visitors learn about our services and request a consultation. We do not sell products, run a customer account system, or operate a marketing platform from this domain.
3. What personal data we collect
3.1 Information you give us directly
When you book a discovery call or contact us, we collect:
- Name — first and last
- Work email address
- Company and role (optional)
- Topic and message describing what you’re trying to build
- Preferred date and time for the call
3.2 Information collected automatically
- Server logs — IP address, browser user-agent, requested URL, timestamp. Retained 30 days for security and abuse prevention.
- Cookies — see Section 7 below.
4. Why we process this data (legal bases)
Under the EU/UK GDPR we rely on the following legal bases:
- Performance of a contract / pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(b)) — to respond to your consultation request.
- Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) — to operate, secure, and maintain the website. Our interests are balanced against your rights; if you object we will reassess.
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — for non-essential cookies, withdrawable at any time via the cookie banner.
5. Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with:
- Hosting provider — operates our web server and email infrastructure.
- Microsoft Teams — used to host the actual consultation call once you book one.
- Law enforcement or regulators — only when legally compelled.
All processors are bound by data-processing agreements equivalent to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.
6. International transfers
JBC is based in the United States. If you contact us from the EU/UK/EEA your personal data will be transferred to the US. We rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses as transfer mechanisms.
7. Cookies
We use only the cookies necessary to operate the site plus a consent record. Specifically:
- Strictly necessary — session, security, and consent-record cookies. These cannot be disabled.
- Analytics — none currently. If we add analytics in the future, it will be opt-in via the cookie banner.
- Marketing / advertising — none. We do not run ads.
You can manage your preferences any time via the cookie banner reachable from the bottom-left of any page.
8. Retention
- Discovery-call request data — retained for 24 months from last contact, then deleted.
- Server access logs — 30 days.
- Email correspondence — retained per our records-management policy, typically 7 years for tax/legal purposes.
9. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your data (“right to be forgotten”)
- Restrict or object to processing
- Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
- Withdraw consent at any time
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (e.g. your national DPA in the EU/UK)
For California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you also have the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete, and the right to opt out of any sale or sharing — note we do not sell or share personal information.

10. Security
We use TLS/HTTPS for all traffic, follow least-privilege access controls, and apply security updates regularly. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify affected users and authorities within 72 hours of becoming aware of any personal-data breach where required.
11. Children
This site is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
